Mentorship Program

Inspired by the practice of mentorship in the Leather community, UPAH’s mentorship program combines a core curriculum with personalized guidance and hands-on learning to help participants become better community members and prepare them to become leaders in the communities they represent.

The program is delivered over the course of twelve months, during which participants can expect to learn about concepts such as the importance of community, the critical nature of engagement and leadership in community, how groups like UPAH operate, and how they can find their inner leaders.

The mentorship program is available to Oriented Members and Full Members (i.e., UPAH members who have completed at least UPAH’s BDSM and Pet Play 101 orientation) on an ongoing basis. Those interested in participating in the program are encouraged to apply at any time and the program coordinator will reach out when a seat in the program becomes available.
